All that we have replaced any of them with are signings from non league clubs plus a loan goalkeeper from Middlesbrough.

And i haven't even mentioned we also lpst our inspirational manager.

This is the most self-inflictedly disastrous close season in the club's history. Paul Conway has got nothing on these idiots.

 

I was listening and agreeing until you said tedic was one of our best 2 strikers from last season. Looked like a raffle winner at times if he's worth 3 million I'm worth 500k

Infact tedic was like a Serbian version of conor Wilkinson at times. He would have scored at Wembley in 1st half with that great though ball but he had a touch like a elephant.

 

They are making Conman look competent. If they are still claiming all money will be reinvested in our team, I can't wait for our new four million pounds signing.

 

This pre season has been woeful. Lost a handful of very good players for this level and only brought in Roberts and Watters who is the same / an improvement. Crap times.

It's supposed to be an enjoyable release supporting your team regardless of the result on the pitch.

Totally agree. Can see why most people who go to away games get absolutely shitfaced on a four day bender to get over what’s happening.

 

Just look at the reaction on his post on Instagram to see how well liked he was and the influence he was having in dressing room. All players are gutted. Great for morale heading into season.

Was he the best player in the team? No
Was he the best striker in the league? No

But his influence and experience is priceless. Very poor move to sell.

He said it would,be reinvested into the playing side including transfers, wages & support side not just transfers.

in reality all that statement actually says is that the fees from transfers will be kept within the club.

Given that the operating losses are around £4m pa transfer fees will, in the main, be used to plug the holes in the finances and not on incoming transfer fees.

 

In reality you are of course correct.
The point I was making was they never promised to spend it on transfers like suggested by dreamboy

 

They they should make that explicitly clear rather than being selective with how people will expect that the funds might be used.

 

Pretty clear

Taking money from player sales,from players that are moving on like Mads and reinvesting that into the squad and the running costs of the Club is another. We remain committed to what we said on Day 1 in May 2022 – every penny that comes in from transfers will go towards buying new players, giving existing players better contracts, and paying the wages of our dedicated staff who run the club.

 

The damage this will do to the dressing room is a big concern for me.
