    Just looked at the forecast for Saturday, heavy rain and storms from morning til night. Wonder what state the pitch will be in at 3pm. Hope it doesn't get abandoned.

    Unless the forecast changes, I am unlikely to travel tomorrow. 6 hours of driving in the rain is not something that appeals. I could travel by train but with an overtime ban I may not get back on Saturday night.

    3 Hours on the train on Saturday. Watch the first home victory. Celebrate around town. Find a friendly person to put up with you for a night. Train back hungover on Sunday. Sorted ;)

    Although if I tried this, I'd either spend the night in A&E or sleeping in a shop doorway before getting home to find all my clothes on a bonfire!
