    Yep, my mistake. Still, she's got a lot of very good years in front of her. Not likely to be even close to her peak for another 5-6 years at least. What a talent.

    I genuinely don’t know the answer but what will a footballer of her standard get paid currently ?
    So far, in this World Cup she seems a class above any other players.

    I've not bothered with it much so far, but in fairness, most tournaments like this only do pick up from the knock out stages onwards.
    Our 'lasses' (if I/we can call them that) are in the knockout stages now after winning all their group games and topping the group. :)

    True, plus women seem to be extremely susceptible to ACL injuries. Let's hope that Lauren is fortunate in that area.
