What for us putting them on sale 3 weeks after the season starts?? No it’s our reliance on a shirt provider who cannot provide the shirts when we need them. Apparently our last season of our deal with puma. Thank the lord.
Highly doubt it’s to do with Puma, Plymouths kit is made by Puma and had a look on their online store. Can order immediately.
Well then on either front it’s a mess up once again that ultimately devalues it’s own supporters. It’s exactly the reason I’ve chosen not to buy an away shirt. They have a short shelf life as it is never mind not even being released before a season starts.
Blackpool kit made by Puma has been available in their club shop a while too. It's shocking customer service how late it always is before fans can get hold of replica kits and training gear etc.
Are the Plymouth and Blackpool kits basic designs? Maybe it's the bespoke nature of ours with the stars and the fade that's the problem
I agree. I dislike the kit and won't be buying one but it's wrong that those who do want one are unable to get hold of one before the season starts.
Most clubs nowadays need a good manufacturer to appeal to the younger fans. Kids are image conscious, if it’s puma, Nike or adidas it’ll sell regardless of how nice it is. Because it’s a decent brand. the minute you drag jacko or Avec in then straight away a lot of the younger end won’t be enticed to it. They’ll just go straight down to sports direct and buy a premier league shirt. Apparently these owners are top notch in the design/fashion field, so they’ll know this already. I think we’ll extend the Puma deal or it’ll be Adidas.
With admission to Saturdays friendly free to season ticket holders, my daughter and partner called in at club today to collect their season tickets. Not ready yet, could she call back again. Went into club shop to purchase two adult first team shirts and three for the kids. Wanted to try on for sizing for adults and had taken some kids tops from home to get sizing correct without kids being present. You’ve guessed - no stocks yet available. Red kit should be available (hopefully) next week White kit - following week Black kit - later in August I’m usually more on the happy clappers side, but to say this is poor is an understatement.
What about Kukri? little bit left field but good enough for England Athletics and do a few Rugby & Cricket teams
Maybe another unpopular choice due to not being a mainstream supplier. EV2 @ Batley. Can design your own kit and available within a few weeks. Spinoff company from them is Ellgren who do the Wakey kits. Quite popular with grassroots football due to sponsors etc being built into the shirt rather than the cheap tacky transfers that come off after so many washes
It’s an absolute joke tbh, you wonder they get called Tinpot FC.. no shirt out for Fathers Day, no shirt out for any summer holidays and I’m not having this ‘well it’s not BFC’s fault’ before Gally etc. come trying to cover up for them; other teams have Puma and there kits are available to purchase.. the worst part is the staff don’t even know when stock is due; someone take ownership of tue situation ffs.
Name me 10 clubs who had their kit out for Father’s Day? I don’t know of any. It’s clearly not in the club’s hands as only in an absolutely backwards universe would the club deliberately withhold the sale of merchandise to the fans. Don’t get why everyone somehow thinks the club are stopping them buying kits on purpose.
Th I don't think that anyone thinks that. I think they believe it's due to incompetence and poor planning
Surely to repeatedly “not have kits out by Father’s Day” when no other clubs have their kits out by Father’s Day is our club punishing the fans?
