I'd gone with the official club renewal deadline of 30th June on the flyer they sent me tbh and thought I had left it until the last minute. I did prevaricate because you're totally right that at the end of last season it was becoming a nightmare exactly as you describe but personal circumstances made it the least bad option - now I'll have to rethink!
When did they bother to send you the digital season ticket? The timing for me seems very coincidental
Yes, now you come to mention it - the car park ticket email came yesterday as it happens and there was no mention of any of this malarkey with it.
Not excusing it. Just pointing out the terrorism aspect. I dont know why they have altered egress for away fans coaches down queens rd. I can see a lot of home fans parking elsewhere (God knows what time the last vehicle would get out of the car park) losing revenue for the club.
Surprised before and after matches there isn't a direct route between town centre bus station and Oakwell.
Given that the Courthouse is free now on a Saturday, and Nudger’s bridge will be open, I’d like to think that many who can will park their instead and hopefully might free up more space at Oakwell for those who really need to park there, out of necessity.
So what options do people suggest for non-club parking for someone travelling to/from Leeds? I've been parking in the club car park, and prior to that the old Jet Garage car park, since the mid-90s so am somewhat behind the times as to available options.
Just been looking at that as an option, and it seems to suggest a 3 hour limit with no option to return again that day. It took a fair bit of searching to find that too!
If you are mobile enough to walk for 15 minutes I park at the back of the Courthouse (The Seam car park) and walk from there.
We park on one of the side streets between East Dene and Dove. Gets harder every year though. Like you we have a long trip from t'other side of West Yorkshire. Occasional train trip for beer purposes. I can see the time coming where I get a B&B on Friday night. Few beers, cooked breakfast, footy, home.
I wouldn't want the stress of parking at Oakwell personally. There's loads of places in town where you can park for free and walk in. Old Town is a good option, good to stretch the legs too.
I would imagine 82 would be more than 6%. Nearly 1350 at that figure. And I dont think anywhere near that.
Then really he should be because whoever IS doing it is alienating fans left right and centre and coincidentally has been since Khaled started
