    Up for sale no taken over by someone open, honest and ambitious yeah definitely. This we can’t progress and end up taking steeps back is getting very tiresome.

    Yes, because they were put up for sale and bought by a charlatan who was obviously just that. We're fairly sure we're getting completely shut of ours.
    Be very careful what you wish for with wanting new owners. As long as the ones we have continue to not do anything stupid we could do a lot worse.

    I'm hopeful that the current board are a decent lot but I was very unsure about it all at the outset and proved right by the mess we appear to be in now.

    What? Why? This is exactly what the board should be doing. An internal investigation and reporting it is so much better than trying to keep it hidden and hoping nobody finds out - which eventually it will. Last season the new board did wonders. This season they're doing the right thing and deserve patience to see it through.

    My remarks weren't aimed at the current lot, my reservations refer to when the Cryne family decided to step back and allowed Conway et al in. The current board seem to be acting in the best interests of the club (as far as I can tell) and I hope they continue to do so.

    I can agree with that mate. I do feel (as someone else in another thread made this point) there was a air of urgency in Crynes thinking. At the time I believe they owned Nice, and they got into the champions league spots. So their 'CV', so to speak, looked pretty good. Unfortunately, he didnt have time on his side.
