Is a Budasliga medal or Ligue 1 medal really worth not breaking the goal scoring record for? Not guaranteed medals at Man Utd and City don't want him anymore. If push came to shove he could always do a John Hartson and pish off north of the border to Celtic for an easy medal haul.
I actually disagree with you on this mate, I genuinely think he wants any big medal. CL, league title, FA cup etc. I'd be surprised if he went France though. I can't believe Levy haven't accepted any offers yet, especially if they are supposedly around 80 million for him. I know Manchester United arsen't guaranteed anything, but with Mount, Onana & Kane I think they'd give it a big go. Onana will completely change their style the way Alisson did for Liverpool
I know I'm biased but I reckon Spurs will win sumat under Postacoghlu. I think he'd be daft leaving on the off chance of winning sumat. You're right it's even harder to win Champions League. There's a flip side though. If anything he's got too much say at Spurs and it might be better cashing in and buying a new squad like they did with Bale. Just seems a bit odd to me. I don't think it's all Kane and secretly Levy wants to sell and it look like Kane wants out.
Just won't happen mate. That defence is horrific. Kane being there is solely there (from his perspective) to break the premier league record. Fair enough if he does sign this apparent 400k contract offer under Levy/Posta, but I'd still be surprised. If I were him I'd just wait a year if I didn't get my move, not only will you get more in wages but he'll get an even bigger lump sum since nobody had to pay anything for him. PSG & Bayern can also offer him a pre-contract in Jan without paying anything... Levy should definitely take that money & improve the squad, surely?
Could be mate. Although last 2 seasons his injury record has been pretty good, it was a little dodgy before that but recently it's been ok. I do think Son will be back better though, and Ange will play much better attacking football, so perhaps they can persuade him mate. Just my opinion
I agree about most of that but if they strengthen they have a chance of ending their trophy drought next season. That's why i'm hooked...everything about Tottenham is headline news. Not as big as Sheff We'd but Tottenham make the six o' clock news and always will do. When they finally win another trophy we'll all get a bank holiday .
I think they may win a league cup, possibly. But last year they also had the chance, and instead chose to field a weakened side against Sheffield united mate, whether that was just down to manager or not due to the squad lacking, I dunno. But wouldn't surprise me if it came from above, making sure to get top 4. Although, I think it's this season the CL format changes, & now it's the top 5 instead of top 4? I honestly don't know mate, I'd personally sell him though as I wouldn't be confident he wouldn't sigh a pre-contract in 6 months and then you'd lose that massive amount of money. I think Chelsea will be on their way back, and Liverpool. Arsenal, City & United will be up there, and Newcastle. Then teams like Villa & Brighton who were fantastic will be looking to continue their progression.
Probably Luton. 29 didn't count as they were penalties. Joking aside he drops back into midfield too much. Madison was an excellent signing if he wants the goal scoring record. That bloke will put it on a sixpence for him ( and Son). I'd like to sign Ward Prowse and sell Hojberg too. He's the pace of a tug boat and turning circle of the Queen Mary. Bentancur, Sarr and Skipp as back up for ball breaker in midfield.
He doesn’t strike me as a guy that will move abroad, English players rarely do. I could be totally wrong but this feels more like leverage than an impending transfer.
I think he has way more longevity than Rooney, Owen etc. Rooney had pace when he was younger and of course Owen was lightening fast. When their legs went they really had to adapt, Rooney started dropping deeper into midfield and Owen was just rubbish. Kane has never had loads of pace or anything, his game hasn't changed at all since he broke into team and it won't need to change as he gets older imo. He'll be able to play at the same level for another 3 or 4 years at least I reckon.
Depends whether you’re selfish or not. For me, winning a trophy would be miles better than breaking a largely irrelevant goal scoring record.
