Excellent - so pleased we have a better ball than last year "These larger panels provide a better connection with the ball, enhancing players' touch and control." wonder how many miscontrols and mishit passes were due to a badly designed ball

Obviously when I used to play the reason I had poor touch and control was down to poor ball design

That match ball will join Luton in the January transfer window.

Considerably better than the disco ball they use in the Champions League.

I had one of those pimpled Frido balls. Supposed to be plastic but more like reinforced concrete

I do remember in my younger days occasionally playing with a casey - heading a wet one was something best avoided and you needed proper boots not the flimsy things they play in today or you risked breaking your foot

you do know how old that bit about the boots makes you sound ( and I'm old!)? that's what my dad used to say to me every time I changed a pair.:D
btw, what about when you caught it flush on the forehead on the laces!:p

What about when the seam had worn and the ball had that blister poking out of it. It was amazing if you could predict the way the ball was going if it bounced on it. :)

Take it you never played with Stanley Matthews. He used to float the ball in with laces facing away from your napper.
