Mads, Luca, Brad, Duffy, maybe JW, Phillips, Kitch even

We haven’t a cat in hells chance of all of them being here in August. I hope we retain at least Duff and a couple more of those names but I’d be absolutely astounded if Mads Andersen and Luca Connell are still at the club.

If it is worse than that we might not have as good a season next season as some seem to think is a foregone conclusion.

What was your prediction before this season started mate? It would be interesting to see those predictions, probably proving that most fans know fek all

 

The board have a choice to make. It put more money in and keep the bulk of players and staff and adequately replace those that are sold, and not give the rest of the league a 15 game head start again. Or shrink the club and stay in this league for the foreseeable

 

I said top half would be an achievement.

It would have been to be fair.

The signings of Duff and Connell moved us top four.

Without Mads, Connell, potentially Duff? I fear we will tread water. I mean we won’t go down - this league is absolute dross below the top six or eight, we’ve seen that. But we are probably one good centre forward away from winning the league or two or three players leaving from being mid table also-rans.

We must, MUST, retain Duff. Do all we can with Luca. And probably let Mads go if he wishes and someone comes in for him, he owes us the square root of **** all. If he wants to stay, give him a pay rise and new contract, I don’t care how skint the club is, crowd fund it on the bbs if needs be.

What a silly post

 

I'm simply licking my wounds after today's events. All talk about the futures of our Head Coach and better players can be left for another day.
For me, I'm proud of them all and hope they realise just how much the fans appreciate their efforts.

 

Phillips 3year deal 2 left
Connel 3 year deal 2 left
Kitching just signed a new deal

I think we will end up selling a few styles included but if we can keep duff and a few key players we will be okay

 

Looking at all the teams in league one next season and if we can keep Duff and the core of that squad we would be strong favourites to go up.

Wigan start on minus 8 points

Reading have hardly any players left in their squad.

Posh have listed their leading goal scorer.

 

Suppose it's east to say now. A long way to go untill then some big clubs still in league one pompey Charlton Derby. Just have to see who we bring in and who goes. Right now am feeling deflated.

 

Think McGoldrick is out of contract.

 

We need to offer Connell as much money as we can afford for a 4 year contract now.

 

I’m expecting Mads to be sold. Styles too.

Biggest thing (which I think most have said) is keeping Duff. Do that and I think we’ll have a shot at automatics. He just knows how to set us up and get the players pulling in the right direction.
