Love that stretch of line. Can remember the class 37's and mk 1 coaches and the class 101 DMUs chugging along. Day trainspotting at Crewe. Those were the days.
I used to live in Bangor but moved to Llandudno so it’s at least 20 mins closer. thankfully got a direct train for Monday and it only takes 3hrs 30 so it’s actually quite quick and nice not to drive for a change. Think they have shelved the 3rd crossing now due to budget cuts. Thankfully doesn’t affect me now we have moved in the same way it used to.
My nephew came from Brisbane in 2016 just for the Millwall play-off game. He's not coming this time though.
235 miles, top side of Bridlington, 470 mile rarnd trip but got 3 day break between journeys, av a great day everybody, C,O,Y,R.
It'll be just as good with a great bunch of mates or family for company, enjoy the day, i know its alot of money we'll be not gerrin much change from our 1200 quid, if any.
I met your sister and had a few beers with her crew after the Millwall match. I was extremely disappointed to find someone who had travelled further than I had to the match!
Two of us working in Ankara are flying in on Saturday. We arrive around 4pm. Any recommendations for a night out not too far from Heathrow?
Haha I will mention it to her! It’s a complete fluke she is here this time. We’re hoping to go in Boxpark if you want to tell her yourself.
She wins hands down this time considering I'm only coming from Lincoln! Hopefully I'll be in Boxpark with Mrs Merde, Chef Tyke and a selection of our kids, although that very much depends on leaving home at the planned time!
Flying into London from Edinburgh on Monday morning. Flying back late Monday night. Long day ahead. But hopefully well worth it.
