Same as me that duff will come up with some game plan to neutralise the fowls and we will win the game ,quite confident really.
I've no doubt that if we win, it'll be down to Michael Duff's tactical nous rather than a stroke of luck. I can't see us holding on through extra time like we did vs Swansea in 2006. They might have the better side, but I honestly feel we'll deal with the occasion better. There's an anticipation for us to do well, whereas with Wednesday, there's an expectation, and that will play into our favour.
My biggest worry is we have a mistake in us. We controlled both legs against Bolton, but gifted them the equaliser in the first game, and an indirect free kick in the box in the second game. All while only scoring one goal in each leg.
Wednesday's tactics will be interesting...do they play it out from the back like they've done most of the season...or go a bit long ball as against Peterborough?
Fairly certain they'll have a midfielder drop deep, who will then play it long behind our wing backs. That's where their joy came from at Oakwell.
Over the season yes finished higher than us. However over the 2 games and from January to the final game they can't be much between the 2 of us . I'm sure someone can work it out.
He was there for the Peterborough game. He'll know they'll go long ball to try to avoid out press. Hopefully we've been working on defending balls into the box!
I have got total faith in Duff. what does favour us is age on such a massive pitch that said, a lot of our game is about pressing, which could be a struggle on the big pitch and heat.
I personally think man for man Wednesday are marginally better. I also think Duff is the cannier manager. I also also think the longer the game goes on BFC will benefit. I also also also think I have no idea who will win
This with raspberry sauce and sprinkles. I feel they buckle under the big occasion - the 2 games against us and the first leg against Peterborough are testament to that. They've had a great season and there's an argument they should have been promoted automatically but they lost ground at important points which ultimately cost them. They've also got a good team that can perform when the pressure is off with the obvious example being the second leg against Peterborough but fortunately for us the pressure is back on and I hope that is to our advantage.
