I think this is very similar to a lot of other questions... My old man bought my season ticket a few years ago and I'm in his network. We didn't have a season ticket this year, but did buy individual games. Will we be able to get up to 4 tickets as we are in the same network?
No, the amount in one transaction will be capped at 6 tickets. If they allowed what you are suggesting, then one person with 5 ST holders in their network could buy 36 tickets, which would be ludicrous. Not a dig at you but i think folk are massively (sorry) overcomplicating the whole process. I think the 2 per person for general sale is daft, but it is what it is. I think 6 per ST is ok, it would be a logistical nightmare if it was 10+. Edit: if networks applied then it would explicitly state it. ST holders can buy up to 6 tickets for anyone. Non-ST have to have purchasing history (understandably) and can buy up to two tickets. Quite straightforward really.
then neither will my kids, Who although are now 18 and 20 have probably never bought a ticket of their own, But have been on the system since they were 5. i just presumed they needed to have a BFC ID to show they are fans
I bought season ticket for 23/24 on early bird, which doesn't yet appear on my membership. Any point me joining the queue in the morning?
That's what I don't know, sadly. No mention of how Ticketmaster will work. If I was wanting to buy 12 in one transaction I'd be calling the club at the same time as I'm logging in to Ticketmaster - in case the latter doesn't play ball.
6 per season ticket holder. I would have thought it might mean sales of around 17-18k. Average 2 each. We will be buying 12 between 2 of us. 6 of which are season ticket holders. 6 non. Be quite a few Season ticket holders not going. 4 I know of in our circle. Some I know are just buying for themselves. Eg a family of 4. all season ticket holders. I bet the young uns get bombarded with requests from their mates.
how is it ludicrous for 1 person to buy 36 tickets using 6 season tickets in their network? not like they are buying any extra than whats allowed. those 36 tickets will still get purchased
Where does it say you can do that? I can't see any mention of being able to buy tickets using someone else's details. It just says you can buy 2.
Are you basing this on an assumption or previous knowledge of trying? Don't see how it's any differen't from us purchasing seperately. We're both ST holders and will purchase 12 either way, we'd simply just prefer to be sat together, hence why we've linked accounts. Surely that's the whole purpose of being able to link accounts for situations like this. Cheers @Loko the Tyke will give it a go tomorrow
I'm taking 'individual supporters' as meaning the individual ID code. If you call with two ID codes you should be able to get four tickets. That's only my interpretation though as I keep saying. Sunday night is not the best time for getting official updates.
What's chances of them getting an extra 10k? Isn't really really fair then, be more like a home game than a neutral
Could the club not still include anyone who has a history of having a season ticket on their record in the season ticket sale? There will be plenty who understandably didn't buy one this season given where the club was at a year ago, plus the cost of living crisis. Maybe a solution to some of the gen sale problems?
Can't believe it, how daft being allowed a privilege this season for what you have bought for next season.
Bloody hell - we're up to 8 pages on this subject already. I thought Petr Kay had put another batch of tickets on sale! All this for around 25,000 fans!
That could be read in two different ways. That they're going to be sold in order, or that we have from the north all around to the south to sell. I think it's probably the former, with maybe some options to choose? But it's ever so slightly ambiguous
