    ..back to his absolute best last night, can we all agree?

    Mopped up everything that was/when needed to, calm and composed at times when others would’ve panicked.

    Such a threat from/with his set-pieces; such a ‘baller……

    Only bugbear - and not his fault - is that without a big lump to front to get on the end of them, his long throws seem to be largely ineffective. Yet we persist with hauling him upfield for every throw in the opposition half, only to have to get his skates on to get back when it's cleared.

    Great defender though.
