Probably best managerial performance given the start they had with so many postponed games, looked like they might be going down at one stage, to this!
Yeah and it looks like the 2nd leg at home curse, has hit Middlesbrough tonight. A big well done to Robbo and Cov.
Look at the last five games of Boro.... Lost 2-1 at Luton Lost 1-0 at Rotherham Drew 1-1 to Coventry Drew 0-0 to Coventry Lost 1-0 to Coventry. No win in 5 and only scored 2 goals. Lots of work for Carrick to do this summer.
Good!! Sick of seeing the same teams in there year after year, makes a change from Norwich, Watford, WBA ffs
Delighted for whoever goes up out of Cov & Luton. Both brilliant stories. Both will be favourites to finish bottom & need some smart recruitment but plenty of other ‘minnows’ have competed.
It shows how 5hite the Championship is this year. Fùckin Conway, setting two utterly dross coaches on. Fùck, fùck, fùckerty, fùck.
Fair play to Coventry, first team to pick up an away win in this season's play off games. However, I can see both them and Luton going into that final playing not to lose with what's at stake. Could be completely wrong but I think it will be a boring 0-0 and decided on penalties.
Both teams whose budget is probably not a million miles away from ours when we're in that league. It can be done.
And that wasn't the first time we went for Asbaghi was it, apparently he turned us down once before. How many teams can and do go from a Play off season, to relegation the next season. And not just relegation, remember the dreaded phrase "relegated in February" was being suggested at the time.
It’s. A brilliant story isn’t it, and whoever wins, it’s a win for football. They say it’s impossible for this to happen, but us 2 years ago, Luton last year and now both Luton and Coventry this year show that with good management and working to a plan it is perfectly possible. But if you had told me, after watching his awful brand of football at Oakwell and then seeing him slide down the leagues until he was managing Scunny, that Robins would then take a team from League Two to the Premiership on a shoestring budget, I would have thought you were crazy. Two negatives though. Firstly, it’s another club about to move out of our reach financially. And secondly, it just makes me so sad that our run to the play-offs 2 years ago was followed by utter incompetence both on and off the field
