    I’m in the Netherlands. Usually a robust connection from there. Good sprinkling of reds fans on view in the corner and maybe 60 home fans scattered across that big area where the MK DONS letters are. Still amazes me why they built such a huge stadium

    The stadium was actually planned long before they had a football team at all. It was part of the plans for the town when they built it

    Yes I know and they were obviously expecting much better progress. Must be awful sitting in an almost empty ground most weeks. Bit like Queens Park and Hampden Park

    I once read that at one point they were going to have a cover over the upper tier. Not over the seats but from the front row up to the roof essentially forming a wall to completely hide and protect the upper tier behind it. Imagine a tarpaulin stretched from the front of the east stand roof to the front row of the upper tier. It would be at an angle like that and deflect sound back down. Not sure why they changed their mind
