I know it's two games in isolation, but they really are the one team I want to avoid because every set of players we've put out against them in the last 20 years have cacked the bed and I can't see that changing this time around. Would much prefer Posh or Derby. Edit: except in the cup game this season
Weds away at Shrews and home against Derby, who are likely to need a win for playoffs. 3rd is very doable.
I think Plymouth will win their remaining 3 games, gives them 101points. I think we'll get something off Ipswich, but they'll win their next 2, giving them at least 97 points, which we can't catch. I think Weds will lose their next 2, so even if we lose against Ipswich, if we win the other 2, gives us 91 and 3rd place. Easy done.
I’ve got a semi just thinking about Wednesday in the final. I don’t care how trendy it is to say you don’t..
Bolton will likely shithouse their way through. Although we competed at their place in the league and cup this season. Home game is harder to judge given the circumstances that occurred. Would rather play Derby or Peterborough but we’ll see how it goes in the last couple of weeks. Quite astonishing that we could finish on 90+ points and still finish 4th.
We shouldn't fear anyone over 2 legs on our day we can beat any team in this league you don't get potentially 90+ points by luck. We drew away at Ipswich beat Plymouth and Wednesday beat posh at their place and thrashed Derby at oakwell. We're a good side teams should fear us.
Another chance to pay 8 quid to park at the stadium and having to wait until full time to do so, which holds up getting away.
I was very interested in Bolton v Shrewsbury today.....2 teams and managers...kings of the dark arts and ahem professional way to approach football.
