There's a few on Google but I'm not in the know in regards to what 'side' they're on. But I've seen it floating about a lot recently and it's picked up a little. On other sites, it's decriminalizing certain age brackets dependant on what country/state. Some as low as 15 years old though. Surely nothing can justify a 30 year old with a 15 year old? They can't even get tattoos at that age!

You are right though, it's becoming increasingly hard to figure out what certain agendas are. Be interesting to see what gets revealed in next couple of days - hopefully I'm not mortified by it!

I've not seen any reference to it on any news feeds I get. However, I do admit that mine tend to be more left leaning. I do get stuff coming from the Mail, Express, Telegraph too though as well as US sites like The Hill and Politico which host pieces from all sides of the political spectrum. It's sad that you can't just place any veracity in just one article, no matter where it comes from.
In terms of the subject of the article I did read some eye opening facts a couple of months ago about age of consent in various countries. For example it's 14 in Germany. Here in Ireland it's 17. In the UK it's 16. What the actual age should be is a difficult one. Do I think a 16 year old is mature enough? probably not. Do I think 16 year olds will have sex with their partners? Absolutely. Part of the problem is that a higher age of consent keeps the inevitable sexual activity of those below it something to be kept secret and, so, reduces the likelihood they will take adequate precautions.
No subject is straightforward. I'd not want any limit below 16 though as a minimum.

They say those under the Age of 18 can make decisions. But will not state an age of which it should be criminalised. As it's 16 in British law. I can't see that changing.
Come anywhere near my granddaughters when they are 16. I'll cut yer balls off. I haven't decided what age I will give consent. Maybe after walking down the aisle lol. :)

Isn't it the case in some countries that younger teenagers are allowed to have sex with each other but not with adults? Is that perhaps a sensible solution, coupled with a strong sex education program

What does it say is actually happening?

And among that article is this
"There is also the sudden dramatic rise in the number of transgender people and normalization of transgender culture, fueled by popular culture and public education, defying all known historic precedent."

Come on mate, this guff only gets traction if people spread it. Don't spread it.

In the UK, a 16-18 year old would likely not be prosecuted for having sex with a 15 year old - but a 21+ year old likely would be. Two 16-17 years old can get up to what they want - including marriage (that might have changed recently), but if they take photos or videos they can end up on the sex offenders register.

You'll not stop kids doing it. You can only educate, advise and offer them contraception. But some parents and politicians (especially those on the right) object to the contraception and others object to the education.

My Barnsley born mother-in-law's DICTAT to her daughters and grand -daughters when it came to s** was to 'keep a straight leg until you are thirty.' - took me a while to work out what she meant!
