    Fun day out if anybody is looking for something to do with the kids over the holidays. Reasonably priced as well, £26 for the family compared to the £48 + parking at Cannon Hall.

    I went last year with the kids, we went on a Sunday so had a nice Sunday dinner in the restaurant there, lots of playing space with parks & of course plenty of animals to keep the little ones interested.

    Joke for us old uns. The Cartwrights were on "Bonanza" where their ranch was called Ponderosa if my memory serves me correctly.

    Linking back to JamDrop's thread from yesterday, the outdoors scenes for Bonanza were filmed on location at Lake Tahoe where the series was set.

    And the youngest son "Little Joe" was played by Michael Landon before his time on "Little House on the Prairie"
