Yet again...a pleasure to listen to, for his forthrightness, realism and no bullsh1t approach.
Key message which he's re-iterated all season. It takes time to build.
Build it and they will come.
I'll keep repeating it....best manager since DW Mark1.
We're lucky to have him . Great appointment Khaled.

All ifs and buts, but I do wonder if we had managed to prise him from Cheltenham instead of appointing Poya, we might still be playing championship football?

I'm sure someone on here said he was approached, but didn't want to move mid-season. I could have made that up though.

I'd like to think so but that midfield last year was appalling whereas this year it's possibly our strongest area. Could he have done enough with Palmer, Benson, Wolfe etc?

Ofcourse we would mate. Woodrow, Morris, Helik, even Brittain. He'd have them playing some great stuff - have to consider the morale of the squad at start of season too after such a disastrous last season, that wouldn't have had to be overcome. If we got him at start of that season when still on a high about finishing in play offs... imagine!

If he'd joined us back then, he'd be all conflicted now, cos we'd be battling it out wi Burnley :D

Here we go then - COYR!

(Just hope MD reminds the lads that for most of us this is actually a c. 1040 mile double round trip after the shameful shenanigans in January and makes Exeter pay on the pitch)

We didn't need that many points, I think any half decent manager could have kept us up tbh.

He's summed it up in one sentence for me.

"It's almost like people want to come and watch us play, now, rather than 'oh, I've got to go."

Whatever happens this season I'll always be grateful for Duff and his team for re-building that connection between the team and the fans.
