Gone to Wrexham as their keeper is out for the rest of the season. On "peanuts" apparently. Well, I guess peanuts are relative.
On talksport he said it wasn't about the money, Wrexham gave him what he has/had. They won a divisional cup competition (cant remember what he said exactly) and Ferguson saw him play as his son was playing and after winning it,signed him up to United 2 months later. I actually believe it's not about the money too, he turned down Newcastle half a year ago. His podcast/youtube are doing extremely well and has apparently got a podcast lined up with Ryan Reynolds now... not a bad gig ey
Hmmmm, maybe I'm being too cynical. He did turn them down last summer tho, wonder how many zeros changed his mind.
No idea mate. I think they've only got 8 games left so wouldn't be for long. Peanuts to him I assume is probably around 2-4k a week... Which is mind-boggling in that league. Wish I had his peanuts! I do actually believe him though that money played very little part, I think half is because he claims he loves the place, and the other half is because of the potential good it can do on his podcast. Having Ryan Reynolds will be a major interview for him and will get plenty of clicks.
I agree bud. I won't begrudge the fans for enjoying it though, whilst it lasts. They've had a torrid time pre-take over. The celeb owners are ploughing money into the area & local charities though, so that's a good thing. I just don't know why they've done it??
