I see there is rain forecast during the match so all our fans in the WSL get to sit in the drizzle while the thousands of away fans are snug and dry. Not right, is it?
Of course I do but some will be sitting there on Tuesday because there is nowhere else available. I'm just making the point that we built that nice stand with a perfect view for away fans while home fans who prefer the west stand have a lot less comfort.
Hope this is being looked at. It would be amazing to see to see our own fans in those seats for the first time in ages and they can help try and drown out the North stand as the players come out of the tunnel or the noise they hear from the dressing room.
I don't know what's saddest - you counting tickets - or me refreshing the browser to get updates on your countdown
We have constantly changing numbers re how many seats are left, but I wonder if anyone knows the maximum number of home fans there will be if every seat that was for sale has been taken. I believe the capacity of the East Stand is ca. 7500 and that of the Ponty ca. 4500. That makes 12000. The entire West Stand has about 5000 seats, but at least half of those are not for sale, meaning that the maximum number of home fans allowed is 14500, minus seats immediately behind the benches, which I don't believe are ever occupied, as the view is obviously obstructed. I assume the maximum number of home fans will therefore be ca. 14000. If Wednesday have an allocation of 5000 (I don't know if that figure is accurate), a sell-out would imply a maximum attendance of can.19000. Does anyone have more accurate figures?
Plus there are loads of seats that are never available, be that on the match seating map or on the season ticket map, but no-one ever seems to turn up.
