I see he's being called 'Boban' all of a sudden. Surely it's 'Bodan'? I've heard Duff call him Boban, but then correct himself to Bodan. But the Club Twitters now seem to be calling him Boban, which seems a bit odd. Any ideas where Boban is coming from?
Slobodan is a Serbo-Croatian masculine given name which means "free". Common derived nicknames are Sloba, Slobo, Boban, Boba, Bobi and Čobi. Thank me/Wikipedia later
The day we met him, he asked to be called Boban. So in informal settings, that's what we've done. So on twitter etc. Whereas he's Slobodan in a match report. And so on. I think we refer to him as Big Slob sometimes. Because why not.
I've got El Classico on in the background and they just scored a goal not dissimilar to Boban's from yesterday. Unfortunately, in this game it was an OG.
