Great result against very difficult opponents. Good teams need to ride their luck sometimes.

Difficult one. Midfielders didn’t really get a grip on the game and initial strike force was toothless. I’ve gone for Bobby just shading Mads but nowt in it. It was truly a smash n’ grab.

Hard one to pick I didn't think anyone played particularly well. Cole Thomas and tedic changed the game.

Went kitching even though he got needlessly booked made some good runs forward with the ball and was a outlet for attack on many occasions

Interesting that so many think it's a tough one. I thought Anderson was very clearly a class apart from anyone else on the pitch. Was surprised when he lost his rag at the linesman near the end as it was an untroubled performance. They had a million percent possession yet barely mustered a decent effort other than one weak shot from outside the box parried by Isted
to a guy who ballooned it miles over in the first half.

And for me too. Mads was outstanding yesterday. Dominant, strong, calm (except for when he lost his rag at the end and got booked), and led by example.

There’s no competition for me. Didn’t even mind the booking. Showed his heart and passion. He’s not close to a suspension.

Mads Andersen was about three levels higher than anyone else yesterday. A comparatively poor day for the usually consistent better performers, Connell, Norwood and the wing backs, but Mads showed that he is a top performer at this level and will be fine back up a level.

Poor game, bitty performance, three points. Beautiful.

No contest yesterday - Mads was imperious.
