About right. 14 sell outs. North stand hadn't been built just makeshift seating on the old terracing. and if I remember rightly. (Probably wrong ) West stand lower had no seats. So unused.
You sure? I thought there were seats in lower West Stand by then, even in promotion season? Been wrong before like….
Just researched mate. (I'm slacking) not slack afore tha sez owt Stephen. 1995 west stand was made all seater. So glad I put probably wrong lol. And TN putting me right. Just testing
Based on your figures, it’d be interesting to know how many were made available. The full capacity at most grounds is never met, due to segregation or restricted view - but are technically sell outs as no tickets are left. Man City sold out the North Stand, and there were no restrictions in it back then, so if there were restrictions on the home ends (maybe the North side of the West and East), it could have been a sell out.
Yes, and the old concrete terrace was replaced with new concrete with deeper steps. Unlike the seats at Rotherham’s Millmoor, they just stuck plastic seats on the old terracing. Absolutely horrible
