Here`s my daily rallying call for the Wendy match. Looks like the fans are doing their bit to make it a capacity turnout. Lets inspire the guys to give us a Derby County style gargantuan effort on Tuesday night so they can see what it means to us (me) to steamroller them Owls! (Further daily posts up to the event to come!)
Not sure why folk keep looking over their shoulder at Wycombe. What's more important, consolidating a play-off place or chasing the top two? I'd argue in our position, with our games in hand, we should really throw everything at automatic. Bolton and Derby should be more wary of Wiccum.
I don't think it's necessarily people looking over their shoulder at Wycombe, but a negative result there could kill the momentum ahead of probably the hardest game of the season on Tuesday. 2 defeats this week, and one of our games in hand wiped pit could derail our season. The momentum is there, and it needs to continue against a Wycombe side who for me, we're playing at the perfect time.
Every game is a cup final now. I feared Bristol Rovers could have killed our momentum but we followed up and responded brilliantly to that. I can see a draw at Wycombe, who will no doubt kick us and harangue us with their brand of non-football, and we will respond against Wednesdeh. People do keep talking about Wycombe catching us, but I'm more interested in us catching Plymouth.
