Yeah I understand all of that Frogger, it has also happened to us as well. And I don't know who if anybody could have brought Rotherham up, and made them more than just competitive in the Championship. Its getting harder to do these days with 'small' unfancied clubs.
It certainly does mate, especially when the so called bigger clubs spend insane amounts of money they haven't got trying to reach the premier league!
Yep, today's opponents Derby of course are an example there. Why were they allowed another season at that level, when Wycombe or Rotherham should have been allowed to stay up instead.
He is right in what he said about the old manning with fouls. Kitching for example rugby tackled on of theirs when they would have been clean through. And was rightly booked. They didn’t do that he wasn’t criticising the ref but his players for not being smart enough When did they hit the post? I don’t remember that
yeah I don't remember the post either. got absolutely no problem with kitch's booking. did absolutely the right thing. made the foul, took the card, got back into position. that's not cheating for me. cheating is what Kane did, when he threw himself to the floor and got booked.
It thought it was from my view but I was a long way away. Others much closer say dive and the ref was in a good position so I’m not going to argue. My complaint though would be there were a couple of clear dives the other way which ref must have seen as dives as he didn’t give the free kick but didn’t card their player. Also Thomas booking seemed harsh not far from me and I thought it was a strong but fair tackle and he got the ball
I agree with all that and also most of what Warne said and yes kitching was rightly booked but especially in the second half the ref let Derby get away with a lot of fouls , some quite bad ones
looked it to me. was straight in front of us in east stand and we all said it straight away. he'd made the same move a few minutes earlier. getting in front of their man and spinning him, to make contact. first time he drew the foul, so fair dos. clever play. second time he didn't draw the contact, and just went down anyway.
I know what you mean, but not sure I would say he missed the tap in. it was just out of reach. derby's were shots on target, which would have gone in but for two brilliant saves
