We went over the tops last night and what struck me was the price of the fuel in comparison to Barnsley, we passed a few places that were 158.9 for diesel, how does that work when it’s 172.9 In Barnsley? It’s just cheers greed and the fact that we’re all accustomed to signing more for everything now………it really is a total pi33 take this country at the minute
I can see fuel being cheaper nearer to source, but Leek and Buxton aren't exactly known for their oil fields or refineries...
Shell garage next to refinery in Immingham dearer than villages round Boston. It’s becoming more and more apparent big companies are cashing in.
For Deisel?? 1.66/1.67 init saw it was £1.61 in Beaston other day. That’s cheapest I’ve seen anywhere
Yep, I always fill up when I visit my parents in Sleaford. Up to 10p a litre cheaper for diesel. Although Morrisons have been doing 5p a litre off if you spend more than £35 on a food shop. Which considering how much good craft beer they stock is a piece of cake!
I went to Manchester on Sunday as I'd won tickets for City vs Villa. I saw somewhere over there that was £1.39 for petrol. I'd filled up the day before in Barnsley for 10p a litre more.
That’s what I paid when I filled up after the game at Pompey a week ago. Best I can do in Farnham is 1.72. And seen it at 1.79 around here as well
Those 2 garages at the end of Woodhead pass are notoriously expensive usually, diesel was 163.9 there! Turnpike 174.9 robbing gits
