    Asked my other half to pick some up because since my daughter has been away at Uni, she gets an allergic reaction to the cat.

    £11!!!

    I’m sure last time I bought some it was about £3.
    Sick to death of these price hikes.

    I never buy the branded stuff. Not sure if there’s non brand syrup, if that’s what you’re buying, but the tablets are the exact same as non brand. Literally identical ingredients.

    Piriton is chlorphenamine so look for that specific ingredient on other packs.

    He said every single brand was the same. Normally i buy the tablets from Aldi - about £2. But he was at Asda.

    There's been a shortage of ingredients for piriton and similar products for the last year. Not sure why but that's driven the cost up. Wouldn't be surprised if retailers have then taken advantage of that

    It's not just a few pence either , iam positive they make these prices up.

    That’s what annoys me - prices are going up simply because they can hide behind a whole host of excuses.
