    Winnall's is the one which sticks out as being about money to me. We were two places behind Wednesday in the play off hunt when he left us mid season, and the local rival aspect can't be ignored.

    He probably knew that certain other first team regulars were about to be sold though and probably didn't expect us to keep our play off push up

    Winnall was the sickener for me. The first one out of the door, to a local rival & to a play off rival.

    Don’t blame players for going after that.

    I wonder if there’s anything the club could’ve done that window. Huge bonuses (by our standards) if we made the play offs for example? Effectively split the play off revenue between the first team squad.

    Not seen it but people saying poorly struck pen? Always find it a little harsh taking credit away from striker instead of giving it keeper for the save
