    Wtf is up with folk.
It's been vandalised (Graffiti) and difficult to remove after several attempts.
If I caught the b'std/s I'd make em lick it clean. Bird s41t n'all.
I would imagine cctv is prevalent in that area of tarn. Be nice if the person/s were identified. Obviously they'll have covered up.

Ill never ever understand what goes through the minds of these morons who think it's fun to try and destroy a work of art. There'll be the apologists who'll say there's not much else for.kids to do and try to reason as to why when in actual fact, these idiots are brain dead

Trying to understand why they do it, is quite different from condoning it. I got annoyed when all the Information boards regarding The Oaks pit explosion on the TPT around Stairfoot/Kendray area were vandalised by graffiti and air rifle pellets. One of these had a picture and information about one of the brave rescuers. Seriously would love to meet these people and ask them face- to -face why they did this and are they aware of what these information boards were about

Town centre cctv hasn't worked for years, I dont think the council could afford for it to be manned

Rest assured if you parked where you shouldn't or put a wheel in the bus lane, the camera wouldn't miss that.

Mainly because we don't have number plates on our heads. Really anyone complaining that cameras are good at recognising cars but complaining they don't catch people are really just calling for facial recognition cameras everywhere, we just don't think about it like that

I'll never understand why people do graffiti anywhere to be honest. I've often heard excuses like "it's art" etc but funnily enough, save for a few rare examples, the idiots doing it don't/didn't take art at school so obviously don't care about being an artist that much do they.

Personally I blame the media's glorification of banksy

Nail polish remover tends to shift most stuff. It happened to the Henry Moore bronze outside Chelsea Art School when I was there. Spray tagging, that’s how we got it off.
Still crap though, I hope they get nicked..
