Club should do a March offer for the big 4 home games! People a bit skint, two of the games have been rearranged and now on a night! £50 adults, £25 concessions & £10 U18s. Then it’s worth it even if people can only make 3 out of the 4 games. Fill the stadium for the games vs Plymouth, Pompey, Ipswich & the big derby vs Sheff Wed!
All for fair ticket pricing, and things like this never do any harm. However I don't think these ticket offers ever make much difference to attendances. Never have. Probably just means people who were going anyway, pay a bit less. Which is fair dos like.
Aye, I agree with Marc on this one. The number of casual fans is only a small percentage of the attendance, and doesn't generally increase too much even with ticket offers in place. I'm all for £20 is plenty, which in this instance would have more of an impact here as the away attendance is likely to be much bigger than usual.
