Used to love the eurythmics and they really put on a good show and looked to be really enjoying what they were doing.

Thunder - brilliant underrated band, and still recording and touring now.

I like most of the stuff they've done. Haven't listened to them for a while because most of my CD's are still in storage boxes in the dining room side board.

I think no contest is a brave call mate, I love Springsteen but I wouldn’t call it no contest as it’s all down to personal taste ;)

The drummer lived a couple of doors from me in Finsbury Park, mid 90s.
He called the bobbies on me for playing guitar too loud. Rock n roll, dude. o_O
    I got my own back…:)

Most of my favourite bands are still from the 60’s and 70’s but more recently I’d go with Shinedown

Giving a shout for The Only Ones.
"Another Girl Another Planet" is sublime, amazing intro, also some great albums.
Take a listen to Peter Perrett's recent recordings, especially "How the West was Won". Some of you will thank me.

I am too mainstream - never heard of most of the above.

    Stereophonics.
