Ironically Plange went on loan in August to RWD Moleenbeek (owned by Palace share-holder and Conway buddy John Textor) for the season after Obbi Oulare's (latest) injury.
Please tell me one of them was the winger on loan at Charlton earlier this year? Best player on the pitch.
Sakai has been on loan all season at struggling Charlton. https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=138945
https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/announc...ntract-and-charlton-athletic-loan/2022-08-11/ In the summer he signed a five year contract so I assume it's a loan. But dunno if the season long loan deal has a callback clause just to send straight back out to someone in the eqme league.
I'm not surprised by that. It's hard to see the appeal for him or for Palace of a loan move from south-east London to South Yorkshire to a club in the same division as that in which he is already playing. I'll be very surprised if he comes to us on loan.
Plange could be a realistic target but can’t see Rak-Sakyi leaving London to come up north to a club in the same league.
But, as he is a Palace player, Charlton's possible relegation wouldn't really affect him directly. He'd presumably just go back to Palace.
Rak-Sakyi starts today for Charlton at Portsmouth. The original story on Sky emanates from our old 'friend' Nixon so has a high chance of being total tripe.
