    Wolfe should’ve been brought on as a straight swap as a DM for Connell, rather than moving Kane into the deeper, central position. Duff might see Wolfe as better further forward, but he made his name last season in a more defensive role, and would be a natural understudy to Connell

    Actually, I was just thinking how nice this thread was that the ref was being criticised and, if I hadn’t seen it elsewhere, I’d have never known it was a woman as it wasn’t referred to all in the criticism as the people posting clearly appreciated that it isn’t relevant.

    Worst ref ive seen for a while and that's saying something. The ref should be out of a job.

    Also we should of been out of sight

    Take it you weren't in row A or B then as roof didn't cover us at the front. Also why haven't they given stewards in that stand stools to sit on. Spent most of the game trying to peer round a stewards crotch to watch the game ffs.....

    I have to comment and stick up for the referee here. The ref was no worse than many of the other referees we've seen this season.

    There was one incident late in the second half that she got stick for. It was clearly the linesman waving like a mad man, she's hardly going to overrule it.

    The referee didn't lose us the match, just like the weather didn't.

    You would think with the stand being so rubbish to sit in, they would want to make something better for fans that they are in control of. It is a stinker of a stand.

    She wasn't incompetent because she was a woman she was incompetent because she didn't do her job properly. But for god's sake if they are going to have a diverse pool of refs and so a bigger pool they need to make sure they are ALL up to the required standard because at the moment not enough are. Regardless of Gender Race Sexuality a bad ref is a bad ref just that nothing more
