And to top it off I'm currently sat waiting for RAC in Leeds City Centre due to flat battery. Could be here until 10pm.

    Merry Christmas!

:( Do you need a new battery or just a jump start?

I think it just needs jump starting. Tried bump starting it but not enough room and slopey road. RAC have said it should be before 10pm with any luck. I guess they'll check the battery out.

I had to take my old man to the Queens, but had to walk all way round as we can't park out front due to City Square being closed. He's slow walking, came back and realised I'd left the lights on. Doh!

    Nevermind. lol.

I’ll come jump start you as long as your car isn’t too big as I’ve only got a Mazda 2. Give me detailed instructions as to where you are and me and Will will come now. Should be there in 10 mins ish.

You sure? If so that would be great..... I'm in the small car park at back of train station next to Wetherspoons. Blue Hyundai i20.

Don't want to flatten another battery!

    See you soon.

Edit: My battery’s fairly new-ish, it’ll be fine!

Really lovely Christmas spirit, well done. Although I suspect you'd have done it at any time of year. Great gesture.

Heh, she's glad to be home. Currently staring at me and wanting to go to bed.

Wife burst into tears and says to say thanks ever so much. :)

    Full story....

Mum died in May so arranged for my Dad to come to stay at Queens in Leeds so he wouldnt be at home on his own.

I've had cold for 2 weeks, wife has chest infection.

Yesterday evening my brother had his garage broken into 3 times in Headingley by drug addicts. He chased them off and got sprayed with fire extinguisher. Ended up going over at 9am this morning to remove everything from the garage.

Went to my Dad's, late, and then to Kings Croft in Pontefract for Christmas dinner. It was an awful waste of £500. Crap food.

Then the above happened. Crying wife and daughter, presents in the boot, dog on the front seat. Not going to lie, it was a decent test of my Stoicism. :)

    Turned out OK though :D

Just goes to show what a great bunch of people use this board. We might not agree all of the time but I'm sure we've got each others back.
    Great work JD!!!
