Got their work cut out now, but it was a well worked goal by France.

I genuinely can't get my head wrapped around it. Had it been the other way around commentary would still be on about it

I’m having trouble understanding the way Morocco are playing, Given two or three opportunities to pass the ball either back or square, they seem intent on trying to pass it forward. What’s that all about?

    Agree.
Game played at 100 mph. End to end stuff so far . Very entertaining. Both sides going for it.

Problem is though they keep losing the ball too quickly, theyre playing at a tempo what just isn't working for them right now. Great for us viewers though. Instead of passing it first time, riskily, take a second on the ball, wait until there's options because France aren't exactly closing down rapidly, it's more Morocco just losing the ball than France winning it

The ball skills and close control of some of these Moroccan players is outstanding. Just had an overhead that hit the post.

Dunno about not working for them. They are definitely causing France problems when they break forward.

Yeah I was going to edit it but forgot, when they're down the wings it's perfect. But for about a 10 minute period they were just losing the ball in the middle soon as they get it. I'm watching on Iplayer too so might be a bit behind! But soon as theyre taking a second on the ball, instead of just passing it first time, they're getting it wide and it's working perfectly. Could easily be level. But then again France could be 3-0 up. Cracking game!

Just seen the 'booking' again in slow motion from two differenti angles on Rai. How was that not a penalty to Morocco rather than a booking for the Moroccan. Couple tackles on a Moroccan early on reminiscent of the ones Saka experienced with no foul given. Do the 'Powers that be' want a France vs Argentina finale perhaps?

This French defence isn't the days of Lizarazu, LaBeouf, Desailly and Blanc.
