That’s an extra fiver for the food and use of the facility up to kick off? Then back outside to your normal seat?

It says the bar will remain open during the game, so I guess not.

I wasn’t thinking about the drinking part of it, just watching the match. I’m guessing because I’ve never been in there

What I meant was, if the bar is staying open, you must be able to sit in the suite. From what I remember (having been in there on an open day), there's a couple of rows of seating, so I presume your ticket upgrade gets you a seat in there.

Rimmington’s is on a level below the exec floor on the mezzanine level below the East Upper and opposite where the Oakwell FM radio station used to be. Theres no view though of the pitch other than if it can be put on the TVs.

Seems like a good idea to me. Definitely try the Steak Pie, Chips and Mushy peas if they are doing it in there. Its really quite good. Hope its supported

How big is it? That mezzanine looks fairly small from underneath

As Gally says below - no view of the pitch so it’s drink up, eat up then go outside, which is what I thought it meant. Surely it costs more to use the Exec Suite, while watching the match behind the glass

Im rubbish at answering questions like that. Id guess they have around 10 of those tables that seat 8-10 around the last time I went in there so it’s not huge but could be a good place for a pint and a bite to eat pre-match. They’ve used it as an extension of the exec for high profile games in the past and think it was the players bar/ family area at one point

That's a fair point, im awful at judging the size of a room or garden.

Sounds a decent size actually, certainly seems a good idea for matchdays. A trial of a proper bar again in a way.

Just got an email from the club about upgrading to Rimmington's for the next game. Is anyone going to give it a try?
