    The midfield was supposed to be the best part of this USA side, but they've been slacking defensively at key moments. Agree with you bud, can't see the states coming back from this

    Edit- infact I think they'll probably concede a couple more as they'll need to go for it and witn Gakpo and Depay, they'll get a couple on counter

    Definitely the latter mate. The Dutch don't look right good either. They're allowing the game to get ragged. Lost their discipline trying to rally USA. It's like Harold chasing the Normans down that hill at Hastings.

    England side which played against USA would struggle against The Netherlands. England side which played against Wales & Iran can beat this Netherlands side who look IMO very unconvincing. Three goals from Netherlands two of which were very sloppy marking. Man for man they are stronger and more physical than the US players but overall the defence looks suspect.

    Can’t fault the US for effort but the quality’s been lacking in both boxes & they’ve played so many passes where players have had to break stride for. Killed a lot of their own attacks!
