We held on a bit at the end but a very good first half performance probably just shaded the game in our favour.

Thought Connell was the most impressive of our lot. We would have a pretty good team if we had more reliable forwards

I think Mads edges it over Connell for me, absolutely immense at the back, not one foot wrong

    Did we hold on?

I don't recall our goal getting much stress?

I thought it was a thoroughly professional and perfect away day performance.

Granted I was watching from a kitchen table and the TV was yards away like, beer in hand etc. But I didn't think we were at all pressured to hold on....

Completely agree mate. We kept the 'best player in the league' quiet all game. Other than a couple of dodgy moments, a thoroughly solid performance

Said to my dad tonight, he started off his career with us in a "dodgy fashion"....

But by far the best defender we have had for years right now.

What an absolute man mountain he is

What about those commentators. Slightly biased or what.

Another great team performance, seems a shame to single one out but I went for Mads. The midfield pair of Connell and Kane were also excellent.

Thawed on Kane at all? I though his professional foul in the 2nd half was a thing of beauty.

Yeah, I think he's been Ok the last couple, and enjoyed that booking very much, he won some challenges as well and looked much higher energy than usual too, that's a couple of decent games he's had lately.

Probably fair to say they had a lot of second half possession without doing much with it. Think possession stats 2nd half possession stats were about 60 percent to them but they did little with it.

Mads for me. Thought Kane was excellent first half.

Only okay bud? I think he's been excellent for us these past few games! Looks a completely new player. Finally his Doncaster form seems to be returning

Toss up almost went Mads but went for the guy the inept commentators kept calling Brendan O Connell
Great performance If we still had strikers like Moore and Woodrow we would be looking down on the fowls. Defence a bit flaky first half but looked very solid after half time. Don’t think Collins actually made a save all game

Mads was solid as always but Connell bossed the middle for me

Genuinely love how we all see things differently.

I thought tonight Kane was ok but not as standout as recent weeks, where he’s shown what we thought we were signing the other year! Still looked a very good player but a little in Connell’s shadow tonight.

What is nice is that we have choice on man of the match and a decision to make from a few players who have done a good job - last season it was invariably Collins or Morris every week.

Do us a favour though whitey, if you hear a sniff of someone bidding for Mads towards the end of the window next month, cut the plug off the fax machine… ;-)

Kane by a long, long way - he was everywhere!

Probably the best English H Kane around at the moment :)
