Well done Japan, fantastic, shame Costa rica couldn't hold on to knock both the big boys out!

If that was Spain's plan all along, they were risking everything for a few minutes there.

The faces of the Germans is a sight to behold . Even better result if it’s proved the Japan goal was given incorrectly

I think they were playing to win, they just didn't create many chances.

Gary Neville can't believe the difference between Spain first and second halves.
Course u can Gary, Spain didn't really want to win it.

In terms of controversial decisions I don't think it gets much better than this. Beautiful stuff. Something there for everyone.

Paul Heckingbottom dropped Harvey Barnes and Tom Bradshaw after an away point at Norwich to save them for the Leeds and Aston Villa games. We ended up losing in last minute to Cardiff in a game we should have won then losing to Leeds and Aston Villa. It was inspired.

It's marginal, but it's not out. The camera isn't even in line with the goal line either, so from directly above, it's probably even more in.

    No controversy or conspiracy there.
