GB News ran a poll, and only 45% said they’d vote for Brexit if asked again. Considering their demographic, the reality is probably much lower.
As someone pointed out, this is more a test case to see if Boris Johnson can get his case heard by the ECHR. Raab no longer looking for immediate withdrawal from the ECHR…..all very fishy.
I would guess that of all the people who are now no longer with us, a clear majority were in favour of brexit. The older people were the more likely it was that they would vote “leave”. My view at the time was that, given the long term nature of the referendum, the electorate should exclude over 60s as they would not have to live with the consequences.
I posted this in the other thread, but then saw this was more popular... The last polling I saw, suggested that the only demographic supporting Brexit (and the Tories) was the over-65s - with support for either down in single figures in the youngest voting age groups. And, 6 years later, the voting demographic has changed by a net of 7+million people (4m died, 3m+ new voters) - or 20%. By the end of the decade that will be 50%.
