    Good result with some dogged defending.


    We went a bit defensive in the second half and they had a fair amount of the ball but I don’t really remember them testing Brad all afternoon. Wild shots flying all over seemed to be a running theme.

    I thought we played well first half
    Second half we seemed to want to hang on and invite them to attack us - fortunately they are even worse than us in front of goal and I dont think Collins had a serious save to make. They never really looked like scoring after the glaring miss early in the first half

    Yea...I'll take the three points. Imho thought we were bright and decent first half....second half we always looked like we would nick a goal....Shrewsbury never did and were poor for most of the match.
    Tedic needs a bit of umph in his style ...Cole showed well again and midfield were in control.
    Only one team playing football (all be it in patches)....so deserved the 3 points.

    Im all for stoppage time being added to try and stop teams cheating with niggly time wasting... but how did he find about 9 extra minutes there!!. :eek:

    Anyway, that is a good hard fought and deserved win for us, maybe our blip that we were going through, is over.

    Well they lost a good 3-4 minutes for the injury time brawl and bookings and we were already playing 5 mins so I dont think that was out of order. I had slightly bigger complaints with the ref who certainly isnt on Tedics Xmas card list

    I know this is only our opinion and I know we ARE just a little bit biased here lol.
    But just how bad have the standards dropped this season with the refs, and most of the time it seems like its in favour of the opposition!.
