It’s only half time and the Blades will do their usual escape defeat act in the second half. The ref will somehow find ten minutes to add on the end with McBurnie managing to scramble home the winner in the fifteenth minute of time added on
As we haven't a game and I didn't fancy Watford v Reading I've watched the first half of Rotherham v Blunts on the red button and looking at it as a neutral the Millers have outplayed them in that first half and are deservedly 1 up. The Blunts have already had a massive slice of luck and to my naked eye they should be losing 2-0 and down to ten men. I know there are no replays on the red button but at first look there was an absolutely nailed on penalty for Rotherham and sending off at the end of the first half. I could scarcely believe that nothing was given - then I remembered that the ref is........ Keith Stroud.
The leagues crazy. They battered Burnley & looked like world beaters Saturday & tonight beaten at home by Rotherham. Huddersfield gone to QPR & won. Stoke, Boro & Hull all struggling & picked up wins tonight. It’s always been an unpredictable league but the gaps between top & bottom seem closer than ever.
Didn't Blackpool start of really well too? I'd snap their hands of for their striker Jerry Yates. And Patino looks a class player. They have a pretty good midfield with him & Dougall
Just looked at the table as now we are not in it, I generally take no notice of it. West Brom.....dear oh dear. What went wrong?
Middlesbrough and Hull are moving up now after a change of manager, and surely West Brom will do the same. And look at Cov now after a terrible start, well done to Mark Robins. On current form, Nigel Pearson at Bristol City could be in trouble, along with Blackpool and Wigan and Hudds.
More chance of him being poached. That said, I've never known the support be as against a Barnsley Head Coach so early in their tenure as Duff. In spite of decent results.
Nothings gone right for them since they sacked Big Val for taking them to the lowly league position of 4th.
Chuffed for Rotherham, especially after losing Warne - hope they stop up comfortably. Blunts and Burnley are nothing special and tbh I don't think anyone in that league has been for a while, which makes it all the more entertaining and also frustrating that we were so utterly hamstrung by Conway and Co last season.
Sheffield united should be walking that league best squad in the championship amazed they kept hold of sander berger
