Any tips on places to go in the daytime with limited time available. (We have plans in the evenings so can’t stray too far). is Cobh worth a visit? Or Kinsale? Not that fussed about doing the Blarney Stone thing.
Any hidden gems for wet weather? Can’t be in the pub all the time so could do with some ideas on what to see.
Any Music bars people have been to (to narrow it down a bit) Don’t want the tourist stuff necessarily - be happy with a back street local.

    Hi Fi,
It's been a couple of years since we went to Cork city but I do really like the place. Well worth a few nights. West Cork (the county of Cork rather than the city) is lovely.
We were in Kinsale last year. It's a really nice little town with a handful of excellent restaurants. It has quite an impressive Georgian fortress just outside town.
Cobh is also lovely. Very small but well worth a visit.
Any other info I can help with give me a shout.
    :)

Cobh is where the Titanic set sail from. You should try and take it in if you get the chance.
