    Really good prospect by all accounts. Would be great to see a Barnsley fighter go far and fight at oakwell.

    Absolute talent is Simpson and a real down to earth lad. Will definitely win a British title if matched correctly. More importantly that jacket is terrible.

    Him and his brother grew up round the corner from us on Longcar Lane. Always seemed a decent kid, great to see him doing so well.

    The club aren't that forward thinking, we only had Man City, Rotherham and Rugby on due to those clubs approaching us.

    We are a little early in his career for that. And with the Metrodome just up the road, it wouldn’t make sense at this stage.

    It’s exciting to see his rise, and he’ll be with us on Saturday and we also have some pieces of video content planned with him in the future.

    The dream is that BFC and Callum can do what Leeds and Warrington did.

    We’ll see.

    Good to hear this, like you say it is a little early in his career but if he does make it to the world level like warrington has would be some night to stage boxing at oakwell. Will definitely be keeping a close eye on his progress.
