Looked a very tight one to me on the full match replay. Duff said in his post match interview he'd been told he was onside. No real protest on the field at the time, but to me, he looks in-line.

Glad it didn't effect the result. You Reds.

Looks an inch off to me, but really one of those that can go either way without VAR

Looks like the sort of decision where VAR takes 10 minutes to decide that Norwood's middle fingernail was 2mm offside. I'll take the linesman's decision on this one any day over the farce of VAR. The linesman looked like he was reasonably in-line and that's good enough for me.

Could go either way with Var, seen some diabolical decisions,

Just off, I think. The two black lines here are the defenders (lines drawn to the vanishing point). Didn't put a line on for Norwood cos with shoulders etc. it's difficult, but it looks off to me with how his body is positioned.

Looks on to me just , the Fleetwood player is leaning right back & looks to me to be level which of course is on but it is hypothetical & to be honest I said at the time to my Grandkids that it was tight but the lino was flag happy & I wasn"t surprised when he flagged ,but thankfully he did not rule out the winner !

He's leaning back, but Norwood's front foot seems level with the Fleetwood player's back foot and Norwood is leaning a lot more than the Fleetwood player. but difficult to say cos he's at more of an angle

I know you're being facetious but shoulders matter for offside, even if arms don't

Im pretty sure bamford had one disallowed last season for his arm been offside. I do think hes just a little off side here just his arm and upper body thankfully didnt effect the result.

Doubt that was the case, but haven't seen it. if his arm was by his side and was the furthest part forward it would count though, as the shoulder would be off.

Love it when people draw random lines on football pitches to try to suggest offsides.

not random lines… lines parallel to the 18 yard box/half way line

He should still claim that as a goal of sorts, gets in a great position & a tidy finish. Not given by inches, but should be remembered as decent form. o_O

It's almost as if we're at exactly the wrong angle and our player making the pass is obscured by an opposition player. Hang on, let me correct myself, it's definitively that we're at exactly the wrong angle and our player making the pass is obscured by an opposition player. Definitely onside though obviously.

So using the 18 yard line perspective, ignoring the camera angle or the half way line.

That’s not how maffs works Bruv.

Extend the half-way line and the 18 yard box out to where they meet. Then draw lines from that point and they will be parallel to the other 2 lines.

If you think that's parallel, be careful parking your car, mate.. It's like VAR got an Etch-a-sketch for Christmas..
