Yeah, where has all that time gone. I remember when he was on his way (it took 3 days) and I had messages of concern from such as crystal and caz hoping things were ok. He's caused me a few worries over the years, and has recently signed up and started playing football again. He's back. The lad I know. Loving football again. But today, he's been sent a few messages from players wishing him happy 16th. Organised by his mates. And I'm simply blown away. It's been an awesome day for the lad making his debut, and the team all going out the way to help him settle in, and then this off his mates at home. The lad is beaming from ear to ear Just had to share that. Cos we've all (my dad included) fell out with football a bit. And we are all so close to having our mojos back
My twin daughters turned 21 a few weeks ago. One of them attended her first Barnsley game with me over the summer - she's a massive Liverpool fan but enjoyed her trip to Oakwell and wants to go to another game. Precious moments - make the most of them
My eldest lives in Manchester, but my youngest has just left home to go to University down south. Must admit I'm a bit lost at the moment. It's just so quiet without them. I can't get my head round how quickly that time has passed.
Aw, happy birthday to your son @nezbfc . Must admit I felt a bit sad when my ds NI letter came through, my baby will be 16 soon too.
Don't worry they are like boomerangs . My daughter couldn't wait to get away when she was 18 , but now, I can't bloody shake her off .
I'll pass that on mate when he gets in. And yeah, 16. It's flown by He's been tonight and decided to stalk for players and grabbing selfies with them. I think he's definitely got the bug back now haha
It's coming. Really is. He rushed out the door to catch a bus to meet his mates to get to he game. If he'd given me 2 more minutes I'd have gone with him haha. I'd got us all in for the Portsmouth game and that well, didn't happen. So I'm hoping to get sooner rather than later. Small matter of a holiday to do first.
