Two really excellent headed goals. Both of them pretty much in the only place the keeper wasn't going to get it. Maybe we rode our luck a bit with the one that hit the post and the disallowed goal, but as for the ones that were saved or cleared off the line - isn't that what the keeper or the man on the post are there for? Far too often over the last few years, Val season excepted, we've come away talking about games where we should have won or drawn but didn't as we missed chances, their keeper had a blinder etc. Pulling a result out of the bag when you're up against it is a big part of becoming a successful team.
People saying Williams had a good game. From these, I think he could have closed Morsey down, and should have put in a challenge for the header at the end which Collins made a good save,
I used to be a "part time" Ipswich fan in 1974/5 when I was at Uni. Went to see them most home games. I was in their record crowd of 38000 when they played Leeds in the FA Cup.
