    Might be, but ou have to read it first to know. You may nor like what they are saying but it makes you aware. To ignore makes you arrogant and dumb (meaning stupid).

    And offended a thicko like me too.

    It's noteworthy that the aged and uneducated are fair game, for those who nevertheless tend to have a meltdown when other sections of society are singled out for attack.

    I don't mind these comments aimed at e.g. the grey rinse brigade btw. But everyone else who is just being playful in their comments should be cut the same slack.

    It’s a football club ,unless you’ve worked or been a CEO ( formerly called the Secretary) of a football club I don’t think comparing the CEO role in a normal company environment works . Football is not a normal business .

    Ah yeah good point, we'l allow them to make multiple f***k ups, alienate the fan base and have very poor communication and PR skills then. I'm amazed at some of the comments from people who were rightly against Conway but are seemingly willing to still put up with incompetence from others.

Khalid is still there in his job because the owners still have confidence in him probably because he will stand there and take the flack for decisions out of his control .     Dane isn't there because his face didn't fit with our co-Chairman at the time. The result being the co-Chairman becoming acting CEO. Can't imagine what the benefits of that might have been....

    Of course you can absolutely compare it. The role irrespective of the industry is the same. There are technical differences, but a good ceo can cross industries.

    Competence transcends sector.
