Following on from the ever changing excuses for closing the west stand separate upper and lower structures, the vouchers fiasco and many more last season and subsequently the absolute **** show of a sponsor this season do you have faith in Khaled El-Ahmad to run the club with 99.9% autonomy?
based on his performance to date it is very hard to build a case for confidence in his ability to run a third tier football club.
Wrong target. The Board and owners call the shots, so far as I can see. The club has gone backwards since 2017, and I'm yet to be convinced the reconstituted Board have altered that course.
Khaled himself claims he runs the club with 99.9% autonomy. Do you have faith in him as a CEO with 99.9% autonomy?
I don't believe he has that degree of autonomy. I think his direction comes from above, whatever he may say. I think that having/not having faith in him is therefore irrelevant.
I haven't called him that. Nor would I. I would always urge more temperance with language than that. He may believe he has that degree of autonomy. I don't. For one thing, if you have "99.9% autonomy" then you don't have autonomy, do you?
If he hasn't got a clue whether he has a large degree of autonomy or not then he's even more clueless than I gave him credit for
Doesn’t allow me to vote on my Tapatalk app, but my answer is a big resounding NO! As I said on here last week whilst ever this clown CEO is in charge of the day to day running of this club it will continue to be ran like a circus. A week later and this sponsorship is announced. This has to be the final nail in his coffin, never known someone do so much bad sh’t in his well paid job and seemingly get away with it all. He’s clueless, inept and has always come across to me as very arrogant. The total opposite to Dane Murphy, Gauthier Ganaye and Ben Mansford all before him. They all left the club in better states than it was when they all each arrived. I fear the current CEO if not dealt with soon will leave the club in a worse state than what it already is in now.
If he's on the £250k alleged, then how anyone can claim he's bringing that level of value to the business is beyond me. If he's only on £100k it's still a very poor performance. Let's look at the positives...... What has he achieved at BFC that a CEO, not a first level manager, could claim as a major achievement. I'm struggling.
So how would you measure that? I'm intrigued! I can see that the Board might [for example] agree that "the CEO may act autonomously in all matters, save for the agreement of a new main sponsorship deal" but I'm blowed how they could agree that "the CEO will be 99.9% autonomous"! It makes no sense!
Irrelevant. My question is do you have faith in him as CEO? He is the one claiming such levels of autonomy not me.
Surely the only thing that matters is whether the Board have faith in him? Whether I have faith in him is neither here nor there.
No way is he on 250 big ones. He can’t be. He’d have to score 20 a season in our team to be on that kind of money. I look forward to his debut in a few weeks.
I have absolutely no idea. But his job is presumably to run the club in a way which goes along with the wishes of the owners. Something's definitely wrong somewhere, and I'm pretty confident it's not below him in the hierarchy.
